Application Checklist
Submit the Online Application Form
Once your application has been processed (please allow for 1-2 business days), you will be notified if there is an available spot for your child.
Secure Your Spot
If a space is available, you will have 2 weeks to confirm your spot with the following payments:
$100 Registration Fee (non-refundable), dated for today ($50 if registering in January or later).
June Tuition Deposit (non-refundable), equivalent to one month’s tuition, dated for today. This will be applied to your child’s last month in the program (June).
Monthly Tuition Payments and Payment Options
Cheques: Provide post-dated cheques for the remaining months (e.g., September intake would require 9 cheques dated from September 1 to May 1). Cheques should be made payable to University Hill Preschool.
E-Transfers: Send payments to universityhillpreschool@gmail.com and include your child’s name in the message for reference.
Credit Cards: Payments are accepted online; please note that credit card transactions include a $15.00 online convenience fee. Ensure accurate billing information is provided to process your payment smoothly.
Tuition fees are subject to a minimal yearly increase, determined as needed through a vote by the parent Board of Directors to ensure the sustainability of the preschool. If you have any questions, don't hesitate to send us an email, we are happy to help!
Tuition Refund Policy
Once your acceptance into the program is confirmed and cheques are received by the registrar, both the registration fee and the June tuition deposit become non-refundable.
The remaining tuition (excluding the non-refundable June deposit) is refundable if one month’s written notice is provided. For students scheduled to begin in September, notice of withdrawal must be received by July 31st.
No tuition refunds will be issued for April or May of the current school year unless written notice of withdrawal is given before February 28.
For extended absences, tuition payment is required to hold your child’s spot in the program.

Withdrawal of Services and Refunds
In rare circumstances, University Hill Preschool may need to withdraw services. However, we are committed to working with families to address and resolve any issues to the mutual satisfaction of all parties. This effort will continue as long as it does not:
• Compromise the mission and values of University Hill Preschool.
• Put staff, the child, or other participants at risk.
• Diminish the learning experience for other participants.
Each situation is evaluated individually, taking into account the specific needs of the child and the family’s circumstances. In such cases, deposits and refunds may be issued at the discretion of University Hill Preschool staff.
Financial Assistance
Financial assistance is available through the Ministry of Social Services for those who qualify.

Observations
Observations for prospective students may be recommended to ensure the program is a good fit for your child. They will be scheduled by appointment Monday-Thursday during the school year after we have received your application.

For Mid-Year Start: If your child is joining us mid-year, please have all items and forms ready for their first day of school.
